Terms of Use
Last updated: February 9, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ClawStaff platform operated at clawstaff.ai (“Platform,” “Service”), provided by ClawStaff (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. Description of Service
ClawStaff is a managed AI workforce platform that allows you to deploy, configure, and manage AI agents (“Claws”) across third-party tools including Slack, GitHub, Notion, and others. Each Claw runs in an isolated container environment (“ClawCage”) with scoped permissions that you define.
2. Account Terms
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials, including your password and any API keys stored on the Platform.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account.
3. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use
You agree that you will:
- Use the Platform in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Not use Claws to generate, distribute, or facilitate illegal content, harassment, spam, malware, or any activity that violates third-party rights.
- Not attempt to circumvent security measures, access other users’ data, or interfere with the Platform’s operation.
- Not resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Platform without our written consent.
- Ensure that your use of Claws complies with the terms of service of any third-party platform the Claws interact with (e.g., Slack, GitHub, Notion).
4. AI Agent Behavior — Disclaimer and Assumption of Risk
This section is critical. Please read it carefully.
Claws are AI agents powered by large language models (LLMs) provided by third-party AI providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic). By their nature, AI agents can produce unexpected, inaccurate, or unintended outputs. You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI outputs are not guaranteed. Claws may generate incorrect, incomplete, misleading, or inappropriate responses. We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or suitability of any output produced by a Claw.
- You control agent permissions. Each Claw starts within a ClawCage — an isolated container with scoped, restricted permissions. You decide what level of access and freedom to grant each Claw. The more permissions you grant, the more actions a Claw can take. This decision and its consequences are your responsibility.
- AI agents may behave unpredictably. Despite containment and permission scoping, AI agents may take actions that are unintended, undesirable, or harmful. This includes but is not limited to: sending incorrect messages, modifying or deleting data, disclosing sensitive information, creating security vulnerabilities, or executing unintended workflows.
- You bear full responsibility for agent actions. You are solely responsible for all actions taken by Claws deployed under your account, including any damage, data loss, data exposure, security breaches, or business disruptions caused by those actions. ClawStaff is not liable for any consequences arising from your Claws’ behavior.
- Security breaches caused by AI agents are your responsibility. If a Claw accesses, exposes, transmits, or leaks sensitive data — including personal data, customer data, trade secrets, credentials, or any other confidential information — you are solely responsible. This applies regardless of whether the Claw’s behavior was intended, foreseeable, or within the scope of its configured permissions.
- Review and supervise your agents. You are responsible for monitoring, reviewing, and supervising the behavior and outputs of your Claws. We strongly recommend implementing human review processes before granting Claws access to production systems, sensitive data, or external communications.
5. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)
The Platform supports Bring Your Own Key (BYOK), allowing you to provide your own API keys for third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic). When using BYOK:
- You are responsible for your API key security, usage, and associated costs.
- All API calls made by your Claws using your keys are billed directly by the respective AI provider. ClawStaff is not responsible for these costs.
- Data sent to AI providers via your keys is governed by your agreement with that provider, not by ClawStaff.
- We store your API keys encrypted and use them solely to execute requests on your behalf. We do not use your keys for our own purposes.
6. Third-Party Integrations
The Platform connects to third-party services (Slack, GitHub, Notion, Jira, and others) through OAuth and API integrations. You acknowledge that:
- Your use of third-party services through ClawStaff is subject to those services’ own terms and policies.
- We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.
- Actions taken by your Claws within third-party platforms are your responsibility.
- You must have proper authorization to connect and use third-party service accounts through the Platform.
7. Payment and Subscription
- Paid plans are billed on a monthly subscription basis through Stripe.
- Prices are listed on our pricing page and may be updated with 30 days’ notice.
- You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.
8. Intellectual Property
- Your content. You retain all rights to content and data you provide to the Platform. You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
- Our platform. The Platform, including its code, design, features, and documentation, is owned by ClawStaff and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the Platform.
- AI-generated content. Outputs generated by your Claws belong to you, subject to any applicable terms of the underlying AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.).
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Platform is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or reliability.
- ClawStaff shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, goodwill, or reputation, arising from or related to your use of the Platform.
- ClawStaff shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or liabilities arising from the actions, outputs, or behavior of AI agents (Claws) deployed through the Platform, including but not limited to:
- Data leaks or unauthorized data exposure.
- Security breaches or vulnerabilities introduced by Claws.
- Incorrect, misleading, or harmful content generated by Claws.
- Unintended actions taken by Claws in third-party systems.
- Business disruptions or financial losses caused by Claw behavior.
- Regulatory violations resulting from Claw-generated outputs or actions.
- Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total fees you paid to ClawStaff in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ClawStaff, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to:
- Your use of the Platform.
- Actions taken by Claws deployed under your account.
- Any breach of these Terms.
- Any violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.
- Any claims from third parties affected by your Claws’ behavior, including data subjects, customers, partners, or regulators.
11. Termination
- You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account settings.
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay, or if continued use poses a risk to the Platform or other users.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Your data will be deleted within 30 days unless retention is required by law.
- Sections 4 (AI Agent Behavior), 9 (Limitation of Liability), 10 (Indemnification), and 12 (Governing Law) survive termination.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the competent courts in the jurisdiction of ClawStaff’s registered office.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. For significant changes, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance.
14. Miscellaneous
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ClawStaff regarding the Platform.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
